Silver Threadz Social was born from both passion and personal experience.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a gift for bringing people together and forming meaningful relationships. Throughout my years in Charlotte, I’ve helped cultivate communities where connection, encouragement, and shared experiences flourish.

I was honored to help bring National Charity League (NCL) to Charlotte as a founding member, watching it grow into a thriving and impactful chapter. I also serve on the board of Carmel Women in Business, where women gather to support, highlight, and encourage one another in business and in every season of life.

Silver Threadz Social grew out of a lifelong belief that connection is what keeps us vibrant. My parents modeled that beautifully. When they moved to Charlotte from Orange County, they approached this new chapter with curiosity: exploring neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, discovering local gems, and saying yes to every opportunity to meet people. My mother unexpectedly passed away shortly after their move which was devastating.

Their energy reminded me that staying active and socially engaged isn’t just enjoyable; it’s essential to feeling alive and grounded. That spirit inspired me to create a community where independent seniors can continue building friendships, sharing experiences, and embracing life with intention.
